  • Theme: LOCAL DYNAMICS: Social, Economics and Local Politics� Changes

THEME AND ISSUE Since the collapse of Suharto regime eleven years ago, social, economics and local politics� changes in Indonesia are getting complex and interesting. Those changes need to be analyzed, understood and noted. Qualitative research is the most important device to analyze social change and its impact on society with certain context. Social research base on field work will give a clear perspective about the real fact of the local community and also the government�s role and reaction on the changes process. ARTI and Graduate School Gadjah Mada University will together held a seminar with theme, LOCAL DYNAMICS: Social, economics and Local Politics� Changes. This seminar will open chance for university student and young researcher of social science to represent the result of their research and discuss their experiences in the field research the participants hope to gain new ideas, valuable lesson and expand their network to support the next research.

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

  1. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia written in Microsoft Word
  2. Abstract provide with author�s name, institution affiliation, email address and contactable phone number
  3. Abstract length 250-300 words
  4. Paper length 5000-8000 words
  5. Paper in Bahasa Indonesia with two space written in Microsoft Word
  6. Paper completed with bibliography at the last pages
  7. Reference cited in-text citation pattern; Example: (Bowen 2003) or, according to Abubakar (2007:16)
  8. Footnote only use to explain, definition and meaning of a name or terminology in a text
  9. The registration is free of charge
