FLEKSI Cooperation by Postgraduate Education UGM and BNI

On Tuesday (3/8), BNI launches Education FLEKSI collaboration with UGM Postgraduates This makes UGM the first pilot campus to implement an Integrated Campus Financial Ecosystem, as BNI's effort to develop institutional business solutions.

The BNI Education Flexion is an Unsecured Credit Facility (KTA) to fund the education costs of UGM Masters (S2) and Doctoral (S3) students who have BNI payroll and want to continue their studies to a higher level. Of course, this facility can also be optimized for UGM postgraduate students and is expected to provide relief because it is specially designed with the Grace Period scheme.

This scheme provides relief by only making interest payments within a certain period of time and can make principal payments starting in the second year or the following year. UGM S2/S3 students can apply for BNI Flexion Education financing with a ceiling of up to IDR 500 million. In addition, they will get special interest rates with reduced credit costs.

The Cooperation Agreement for the Launch of BNI Flexion for Education was signed by the Dean of the UGM Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D and Head of Institutional Relations Division 2 BNI Arya Prajaka.

Also present at the launching of the collaboration were UGM Chancellor Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D. On that occasion also BNI, UGM and the Alumni Family of Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAGAMA) expanded their cooperation by issuing the BNI-GAMA Affinity Credit Card. The card is intended for all UGM academics, including lecturers, employees, alumni, and students.

Starting this month, the BNI-GAMA Credit Card can also be owned by parents or guardians of students. Benefits for BNI-GAMA Credit Card holders include: Free lifetime annual fee with transaction terms, 100% welcome cashback up to Rp. 500 thousand for the first transaction, BNI Rewards Points which can be exchanged for attractive promos. Interestingly, the application for the BNI-GAMA Credit Card and BNI Flexi Pendidikan can be done anywhere without the need to come to a branch office, only through an e-form with a smartphone device.

BNI hopes that the collaboration that has been established with UGM can synergize and can continue to be improved in the future, such as the development of a campus financial ecosystem that supports the end-to-end transaction needs of the UGM academic community and digitizing university/e-campus management management. The forms of digitization include: digitizing the learning process through the learning management system, digitizing payments in the campus environment, digitizing student IDs, developing MSMEs through incubation digitization, and the Early Recruitment Program and Career Development Center Cooperation for students who have graduated.
